     Amy Augusta Rideout was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. John Wood Rideout.2 She married Herbert Wigram, son of Reverend William Pitt Wigram and Sophia Sarah Smith, on 27 July 1872.1 She died on 10 January 1935.1
     From 27 July 1872, her married name became Wigram.

     General Sir Kenneth Wigram was born on 5 December 1875.1 He was the son of Herbert Wigram and Amy Augusta Rideout.2 He died on 11 July 1949 at age 73, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He fought in the Tirah Expedition between 1897 and 1898.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He fought in the Waziristan Expedition between 1901 and 1902.1 He was appointed Tibet Expedition in 1904.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches seven times.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General between 1917 and 1918 in the GEneral Staff.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1923.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1929.1 He was CGS of the India between 1931 and 1934.1 He gained the rank of General in 1932.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp General to HM King George V between 1933 and 1936.1 He was GOC-in-Command of the India between 1934 and 1936.1
