George Benjamin Wolseley was born on 11 July 1839.1 He was the son of Major Garnet Joseph Wolseley and Anne Smith.2 He married Esther Louise Andrews, daughter of William Andrews, on 11 November 1867.1 He died on 10 May 1921 at age 81.1
