Richard Wolseley was the son of Sir Charles Wolseley, 2nd Bt. and Anne Fiennes.2 He married Frances Burneston on 16 January 1688.1 He died in 1724, with other issue:.1
He was Captain Williamite forces Ireland, bought part of the estate of Charles Butler, Earl of Arran, and established himself at Mount Arran (later Mount Wolseley), County Carlow.1 To whom his father left his Irish estates.2 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) County Carlow and 1715–24 in 1703.1

William Wolseley was born circa 1692.1 He is the son of Richard Wolseley and Frances Burneston.2 He married Ann Fieldhouse, daughter of John Fieldhouse, in 1738.1
He was married 4th – Hargreaves), only daughter of William Northey, of Compton Bassett, Wilts, and widow of John Whitby, of Cresswell Hall, Staffordshire.1 He was also known as 5th Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1 He was James, baptised , Lieutenant 17th Foot, died unmarried in Ireland 18 May 1773) and a daughter (Sophia, baptised 31 March 1749, married 1768 William Pigott, of Doddershall, Buckinghamshire (died 26 Feb 1802), on 12 October 1751.1 On 23 September 1752 married 2nd Anna (allegedly married 3rd John Robins, of Stafford.1 He was by her no issue but by his 1st wife, with two younger sons (Charles, born 25 Oct 1741, Admiral the Red, died unmarried 10 April 1808 on 12 May 1779.1 In 1801 died ).1
