     John Edward Aitken Kidd was born on 12 December 1944.1 He is the son of Major Thomas Edward Dealtry Kidd and Hon. Janet Gladys Aitken.1 He married Wendy Madeleine Hodge, daughter of Sir John Rowland Hodge, 2nd Bt. and Joan Wilson, on 2 April 1973.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 In 1962 he was the junior European individual showjumping champion.1 He wrote the book Reins in Our Hands, published 1966.1 He wrote the book Take Off, published 1974.1 He was Chairman of Columbia Laboratories Inc. in 1987.1 He lived in 1999 at Holders House, St. James, Barbados.1 He lived in 1999 at 745 Fifth Avenue, New York City, New York, U.S.A..1

     Maud Lytton Grey Morgan was the daughter of Charles Lytton Grey Morgan.1 She married, firstly, R. E. Bright before 1936.1 She married, secondly, Robert Daniel Thwaites Yerburgh, 1st Baron Alvingham, son of Robert Armstrong Yerburgh and Elma Amy Thwaites, on 30 July 1936.1 She died in 1992.2
      From before 1936, her married name became Bright.1 As a result of her marriage, Maud Lytton Grey Morgan was styled as Baroness Alvingham on 30 July 1936. From 30 July 1936, her married name became Yerburgh.1
