     Dennis Gerald Hackett was born in 1931.1 He is the son of Gerald Olf Basil Hackett and Alice Ranee Alison.2 He married Minnie Maud White, daughter of Benjamin White, on 18 August 1953.1
     He was educated at Royal Roads Military College, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.1 He was awarded the Canadian Decoration (C.D.)1 He retired from the military in 1973, with the rank of Captain, late of the Royal Canadian Air Force.1

     Henry Robert Hackett was born on 12 May 1896.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Henry Monck-Mason Hackett and Anna Kennedy.2 He died on 2 November 1915 at age 19 at Gallipoli, Turkey, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Gallipoli Campaign.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers.1
