     William Thomas Coventry was born on 1 July 1911.1 He was the son of Hon. Thomas George Coventry and Alice Ward.1 He married, firstly, Gwendolyn V. Burton in 1940.1 He married, secondly, Irene Murial Shay on 13 October 1950.1 He died in 1993.1
     William Thomas Coventry was educated at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Canadian naval Volunteer Reserve.1
