     Professor Sidney Russ was born on 2 December 1879.2 He was the son of Carl Gottfried Russ.3 He married Mary Priestley, daughter of Major F. N. Priestley.2 He died on 27 July 1963 at age 83.2
     He graduated from University College London, London, England, in 1905 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)2 He graduated in 1909 with a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.)2 He was Professor of Physics between 1920 and 1946 at Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London, EnglandG.2 He was Scientific Secretary of the National Radium Commission between 1929 and 1935.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1931.1

     Timothy Vincent Russ was born on 11 August 1943.1 He is the son of Charles Rupert Russ and Rosamund Ursula Mary Eyre.1
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Queen's College, Cambridge, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was educated at Oscott College, Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1

Alexander Dick1

     Alexander Dick was the son of Sir William Dick.1 He married Helen Rochead, daughter of Sir James Rochead of Inverleith, 1st Bt., in 1641.1 He died in 1663.1
     He lived at Heugh, East Lothian, Scotland.1 He held the office of Provost of Edinburgh from 1638 to 1639.1
