     Sir William Frederick Victor Mordaunt Milner, 8th Bt. was born on 2 October 1893.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Frederick George Milner, 7th Bt. and Adeline Gertrude Denison Beckett-Denison.1 He died on 19 March 1960 at age 66, unmarried.1
     He was educated in 1903 at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1915 and 1919 in the 2nd/1st Lothians and Border Horse.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1919 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Milner, of Nun Appleton Hall, co. York [G.B., 1717] on 8 June 1931.1 He was partner of Milner and Craze, architects at London, England.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institute of British Architects (F.R.I.B.A.)1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1934 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1
