     Arthur Howe Holdsworth was born on 26 November 1780.1 He was the son of Arthur Holdsworth.1 He married Catherine Henrietta Eastabrook, daughter of John Eastabrook. He died on 14 May 1860 at age 79.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dartmouth between 1802 and 1819.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dartmouth between 1829 and 1832.1
