     John Henry Crofton was born on 8 December 1889.1 He was the son of Captain Duke Arthur Crofton and Augusta Maude Lefroy.1 He died on 13 November 1914 at age 24, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 18th Royal Irish Regiment.1

     Sir Richard Marsh Crofton was born on 6 April 1891.1 He was the son of Captain Duke Arthur Crofton and Augusta Maude Lefroy.1 He married Olive Amy Stewart Cox, daughter of Charles Stewart Cox and Florence Amy Renshaw, on 15 December 1921.1 He died on 27 May 1955 at age 64.1
     He was with the Indian Civil Service in 1914.1 He was Director-General, Revenue Department, Hyderabad State between 1935 and 1942.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1941.1 He was Prime Minister in Bahawalpur State between 1942 and 1947.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1945.1 He lived at Compton Meadows, Minstead, Hampshire, England.1
