     Wilhelm Ludwig Graf von Hessenstein was born in 1800. He was the son of Wilhelm I (IX) Kurfürst von Hessen-Kassel and Karoline von Schlotheim. He married, firstly, Baronin Luise von dem Bussche-Huennefeld in 1827. He married, secondly, Karoline Wolff von Gudenburg in 1831. He died in 1836.

     Her married name became von Steuber.
