     Annie Watson was born on 11 September 1836 at Barrackpore, India.1 She was the daughter of Colonel Edward John Watson and Jane Campbell Thomas.1 She married John Walter Sherer, son of John Walter Sherer and Mary Corrie, on 26 September 1867 at West Brompton, London, England.1
     From 26 September 1867, her married name became Sherer.1
