     George Augustus Frederick Dawkins was born in 1791.1 He was the son of James Colyear Dawkins and Hannah Phipps.1 He was baptised on 18 December 1791 at St. Marylebone, London, England.2 He married Elizabeth Cooper, daughter of Rev. Sir William Cooper, Bt., on 12 July 1818 at Feltham, London, England.1,2 He died in 1821, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of officer in 1815 in the 15th Light Dragoons.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.1

     Elizabeth Cooper was the daughter of Rev. Sir William Cooper, Bt.1 She married, firstly, George Augustus Frederick Dawkins, son of James Colyear Dawkins and Hannah Phipps, on 12 July 1818 at Feltham, London, England.1,2 She married, secondly, Reverend Edward Henry Dawkins, son of Henry Dawkins and Augusta Clinton, in 1835.1 She died in September 1863.1
     From 12 July 1818, her married name became Dawkins.1
