Sir Francis Molyneux Ommanney1

     Sir Francis Molyneux Ommanney was born on 4 October 1774.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Cornthwaite Ommanney and Martha Manaton.1 He married Georgiana Hawkes on 16 October 1801 at St. Clement Danes, Westminster, London, England.1 He died on 7 November 1840 at age 66 at Norfolk Street, Strand, London, England.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Barnstaple between 1818 and 1826.1

     Admiral Sir Erasmus Ommanney was born on 22 February 1814 at London, England.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Molyneux Ommanney and Georgiana Hawkes.1 He married Amelia Mary Smith on 27 February 1844 at The Palace Chapel, England.1 He married Mary Stone on 22 April 1862 at St. George Hanover Square PArish Church, London, England.1 He died on 21 December 1904 at age 90 at St. Michael's Vicarage, St. Michael's Road, Southsea, Hampshire, England.1
     He was commissioned in August 1826, in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Battle of Navarino on 20 October 1827.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in March 1867.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1868.1 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1871.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1877.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in June 1902.1
