     Richard Wallop was baptised on 10 June 1616.1 He was the son of Richard Wallop and Mary Spencer.1 He married Marie (?)1 He died on 22 August 1697 at age 81.1
     He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1635 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1646 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Bencher of Middle Temple in 1666.1 He held the office of Treasurer of Middle Temple in 1673.1 In 1685 he defended Titus Oates in his trial for perjury.1 He held the office of Cursitor Baron of the Exchequer in 1696.1
