     Mary Louisa Ridley was the daughter of Reverend Oliver Matthew Ridley and Louisa Pole Stuart.1 She married Lt.-Col. John Percy Groves on 14 February 1912.1 She died on 23 March 1835, without issue.1
     From 14 February 1912, her married name became Groves.1

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 67th Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 27th Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Guernsey Artillery.1

     Major Edward Keane Ridley was born on 5 November 1861.1 He was the son of Reverend Oliver Matthew Ridley and Frances Eliza Keane.1 He married Ethel Janet Tweedie, daughter of Alexander Forbes Tweedie, on 24 June 1903.1 He died on 13 January 1947 at age 85.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Dorset Regiment.1

     He was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Assistant Treasury Solicitor between 1951 and 1956.1 He was Principal Assistant Treasury Solicitor between 1956 and 1969.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1963.1
