     Emma Eliza Lewis was born in 1838 at London, England.1 She was the daughter of Herbert Taylor Lewis and Anna Maria Lacon.1 She married, firstly, Commander Fairfax Moresby, son of Admiral Sir Fairfax Moresby, in 1856.1 She married, secondly, Henry Bevan after 1858.1 She died on 26 October 1922 at Bath, Somerset, England.1
     From 1856, her married name became Moresby.1 From after 1858, her married name became Bevan.1

Commander Fairfax Moresby1

     Commander Fairfax Moresby was the son of Admiral Sir Fairfax Moresby.1 He married Emma Eliza Lewis, daughter of Herbert Taylor Lewis and Anna Maria Lacon, in 1856.1 He died in 1858, when his ship, H.M.S. Sappho, went down off Sydmey, Australia.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1

Admiral Sir Fairfax Moresby1

     Admiral Sir Fairfax Moresby was born on 29 November 1786 at Calcutta, Bengal, India.2 He married Eliza Louisa Williams in August 1814 at Malta.2 He died on 21 January 1877 at age 90 at Exmouth, Devon, England.2
     He gained the rank of Admiral of the Fleet in the Royal Navy.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)2
