     Sir William Garrow was born on 13 April 1760 at Monken Hadley, Hertfordshire, England.1 He was the son of Reverend David Garrow and Sarah Lowndes.1 He married Sarah Dore on 17 March 1793 at St. George the Mary, Queen Square, Holborn, London, England.1 He died on 24 September 1840 at age 80 at Pegwell Cottage, Ramsgate, Kent, England.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 He held the office of Solicitor-General.1 He held the office of Attorney-General.1 He was a practising barrister in 1780.1 He held the office of Baron of the Exchequer in 1817.1
