Captain Garth Neville Watford was the son of Colonel Neville Walford.2 He married Elizabeth Katharine Mary Trefusis, daughter of Colonel Hon. John Schomberg Trefusis and Eva Louisa Bontein, on 10 October 1907.1 He died on 26 April 1915, killed in action.1
Captain Garth Neville Watford fought in the First World War.1 Burkes Peerage states he was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.). However, this award is not mentioned in Arthur's Symbol of Courage.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Horse Artillery.1
