     Ellis Edward Arthur Chetwynd-Talbot was born on 22 March 1920.1 He was the son of Reverend Arthur Henry Chetwynd-Talbot and Eveline Mary Ashton.1 He died in October 1941 at age 21 at Malta, while on special duty with the Royal Air Force.1
     He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1940 in the Royal Engineers.1,2 He was awarded the George Cross (G.C.) on 17 September 1940.1
