     Reverend Joseph Frederick Hone was born on 10 December 1801.1 He was the son of Joseph Terry Hone and Augusta Maria Brush.1 He married Anne Grimshaw.1 He died on 22 January 1888 at age 86, without issue.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1825 with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)1 He was Vicar at Tirley, Gloucestershire, England.1
