     John Archibald Sinclair, 3rd Viscount Thurso was born on 10 September 1953. He is the son of Robin Macdonald Sinclair, 2nd Viscount Thurso and Margaret Beaumont Robertson. He married Marion Ticknor Sage, daughter of Louis D. Sage, in 1976.
     John Archibald Sinclair, 3rd Viscount Thurso gained the title of 3rd Viscount Thurso. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).
