     Evelyn Fitzroy was born in 1881. She was the daughter of Captain Frederick Southampton Le Strange Fitzroy and Anne Woolsey Atkinson. She married Captain Harold Wilbraham Molyneux Tollemache, son of Captain Anastasius Eugene Tollemache, on 4 December 1913.
     Her married name became Tollemache.
