     He held the office of Master of the Statute Office.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire in 1634.2 He was created 1st Baronet Hampson, of Taplow, co. Buckingham [England] on 3 June 1642.2

     Sir George Hampson, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir George Hampson, 4th Bt. and Mary Coghill.1 He married, firstly, Sarah Serocold, daughter of Thomas Serocold.1 He married, secondly, Jane Sill on 16 February 1738.1 He died in 1754 at Jamaica.1 He was buried at Great Salt Ponds, Jamaica.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hampson, of Taplow, co. Buckingham [E., 1642] on 9 September 1724.1

     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Hampson, of Taplow, co. Buckingham [E., 1642] in 1754.1
