     Ruby O'Connell is the daughter of Arthur Vernon O'Connell. She married Lt.-Col. Granville Henry Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, son of Hon. Louis Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone and Gwendoline Mary Elizabeth Talbot, on 7 June 1923.
     Her married name became Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone.
