     Reverend Samuel Marsden was born on 24 June 1765 at Farsley, Yorkshire, England.1 He was the son of Thomas Marsden.1 He married Eliazbeth Fristan, daughter of Thomas Fristan, on 21 April 1793.1 He died on 12 May 1838 at age 72 at St. Mathew's Parsonage, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1
     He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was senior Church of England chaplain in 1810 at New South Wales, Australia.1

     Laura Margaret Linfoot was born on 27 August 1910 at Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.1 She married, firstly, Robert Lowe Hall, Baron Roberthall, son of Edgar Hall and Rose Helen Cullen, in 1932.1 She and Robert Lowe Hall, Baron Roberthall were divorced in 1968.1 She married, secondly, Sir George Donald Alastair MacDougall, son of Daniel MacDougall, in 1977.1 She died on 8 March 1995 at age 84 at London, England.1
     Laura Margaret Linfoot usually went by her middle name of Margaret.1 From 1932, her married name became Hall.1 She was a fellow and tutor in economics between 1949 and 1975 at Somerville College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 From 1977, her married name became MacDougall.1
