     Osbert Cecil Molyneux, 6th Earl of Sefton was born on 21 February 1871. He was the son of William Philip Molyneux, 4th Earl of Sefton and Cecil Emily Jolliffe. He married Lady Helena Mary Bridgeman, daughter of Sir George Cecil Orlando Bridgeman, 4th Earl of Bradford and Lady Ida Frances Annabella Lumley, on 8 January 1898.1 He died on 16 June 1930 at age 59.
     Osbert Cecil Molyneux, 6th Earl of Sefton gained the title of 6th Earl of Sefton.
