     Admiral Edward Winterton Turnour was born on 18 September 1821.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Adolphus Augustus Turnour and Janet Dewar.1 He married Emma Elizabeth Hodgson, daughter of R. W. Hodgson, on 4 January 1866.1 He died on 8 October 1901 at age 80, without issue.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1

     Emma Elizabeth Hodgson was the daughter of R. W. Hodgson.1 She married Admiral Edward Winterton Turnour, son of Rev. Hon. Adolphus Augustus Turnour and Janet Dewar, on 4 January 1866.1 She died on 18 February 1891.1
     From 4 January 1866, her married name became Turnour.1

     Reverend Adolphus Augustus Turnour was born on 22 April 1823.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Adolphus Augustus Turnour and Janet Dewar.1 He married Mary Anne Elizabeth Grace Pearson, daughter of Alexander Pearson, on 26 September 1850.1 He died on 7 July 1888 at age 65.1
     He was Vicar at Ellenhall, Staffordshire, England.1 He also had two daughters (died unmarried.)1
