     William Pierrepont was born in 1669.1 He was the son of Robert Pierrepont and Anne Murray.1 He married, firstly, Anne Greville, daughter of Robert Greville, 4th Baron Brooke of Beauchamps Court and Anne Dodington, in May 1691.1 He married Elizabeth d'Arcy, daughter of Sir Thomas d'Arcy, 1st Bt. and Jane Cole, on 6 July 1703.1 He died on 29 August 1706.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Nottingham between 1695 and 1706.1
