     He was Rector at Edworth, Bedfordshire, England.1

     Claud Lacy Yea Dering was born on 13 October 1885.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Edgar William Wallace Dering and Marianna Emily Harding.1 He married Winifred Gellibrand, daughter of Edmund Gellibrand, in February 1915.1 He died on 6 November 1943 at age 58.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.1
