     He was admitted to Inner Temple.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Much Wenlock between 1640 and 1644.¹ He was educated at Jesus College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Littleton, [E., 1642] in September 1647.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Much Wenlock in 1661.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Grinstead in 1679.¹ He held the office of Lord of Admiralty from 1680 to 1681.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yarmouth, Isle of Wight in 1681.¹

     Anne Littleton is the daughter of Edward Littleton, 1st Baron Lyttelton.¹ She married Sir Thomas Littleton, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Adam Littleton, 1st Bt. and Etheldreda Poyntz, in 1637.¹

     Edward Littleton, 1st Baron Lyttelton was created 1st Baron Lyttelton, of Mounslow on 18 February 1641.

     Jane Periam is the daughter of Sir William Periam. She married Thomas Poyntz.
