     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron St. Leonards, of Slaugham, co. Sussex [U.K., 1852] on 18 March 1908.2 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Horse Guards.1
