     Frederick Louis Charles Thomas was born on 27 February 1853.1 He was the son of Sir William Sidney Thomas, 5th Bt. and Thomasin Oliver Haynes.1 He married Eveline May Shand, daughter of Charles Shand, on 22 September 1881.1 He died on 16 January 1934 at age 80.1
     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.1 He was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Battalion, East Surrey Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers.1

     Eveline May Shand was the daughter of Charles Shand.1 She married Frederick Louis Charles Thomas, son of Sir William Sidney Thomas, 5th Bt. and Thomasin Oliver Haynes, on 22 September 1881.1 She died on 1 November 1927.1
     From 22 September 1881, her married name became Thomas.1
