     Richard Arthur Corballis was born on 26 September 1893.¹ He was the son of James Frederick Joseph Corballis and Sybil Musgrave Beadon.² He married Kathleen Kelly, daughter of Charles Kelly, in October 1919.¹ He died on 2 March 1921 at age 27, from wounds received in action.
