     Otto III Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg was born on 24 August 1495. He was the son of Heinrich II Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Margaret von Sachsen.1 He married Meta von Campe, daughter of Johann III von Campe, circa 1524. He died on 11 August 1549 at age 53.
     Otto III Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg was a member of the House of Guelph.1 He succeeded to the title of Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg in 1522.1 He was created Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Harburg in 1527.1

     Otto II Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Harburg was born on 25 September 1528. He was the son of Otto III Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Meta von Campe. He married, firstly, Margaret von Schwarzburg-Leutenberg, daughter of Johann Heinrich Graf von Schwarzburg-Leutenberg and Margaret von Weida, on 8 September 1551. He married, secondly, Hedwig von Ostfriesland, daughter of Enno II Graf von Ostfriesland and Anne von Oldenburg, on 8 November 1562. He died on 26 October 1603 at age 75.
     Otto II Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Harburg gained the title of Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Harburg.
