     Major Peter George Frederick Sutton was the son of Lt.-Col. George Frederick S. Sutton.2 He married Bettine Mary Holmes, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Noel Galway Holmes and Mary Agnes Philippa Clifford, on 27 May 1949.1 He died on 29 August 1958 at Malaysia, killed while on active service.1
     Major Peter George Frederick Sutton gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1 He fought in the Malayan Campaign.1
