     Colonel Joseph Francis Noel Baxendale was born in 1877. He was the son of Joseph William Baxendale and Frances Margaret Julia Scott. He married Margaret Mary Helen Heathcote, daughter of Reverend Gilbert Vivian Heathcote, in 1906.2
     Colonel Joseph Francis Noel Baxendale held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He lived at Froxfield Green, Petersfield, Hampshire, England.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1
