     Andronicus III Palaeologus, Emperor of Constantinople was born circa 1296. He was the son of Michael IX Palaeologus, Emperor of Constantinople.1 He married Adelheid von Braunschweig-Grubenhagen, daughter of Heinrich I Herzog von Braunschweig-Grubenhagen and Agnes von Thuringia, circa 1318. He died on 15 June 1341.
     Andronicus III Palaeologus, Emperor of Constantinople held the office of Co-regent of Constantinople in 1325.1 He succeeded to the title of Emperor Andronicus III of Constantinople in 1328.1
