     Paul Keppel Legge was born on 25 January 1906.1 He is the son of Colonel William Kaye Legge and Constance Adeline Palmer.1 He married, firstly, Olga Robinson before 1948.2 He married, secondly, Nellie Ruth Dewey, daughter of Percy Edwin Dewey, on 18 November 1948.1
     Paul Keppel Legge was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Indian Army.1 He was with the Australian Commonwealth Service.1

     W/Cdr.
