     Captain Arthur John Loftus was the son of Captain Arthur Loftus.2 He married Lady Catherine Henrietta Mary Loftus, daughter of John Loftus, 2nd Marquess of Ely and Anna Maria Dashwood, on 8 January 1863.1 He died on 3 September 1891.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 18th Hussars.1 He was Keeper of the Jewels at Tower of London, The City, London, EnglandG.1

Isabella Maude.2 He married, firstly, Dorothea Anne Cornwall, daughter of Leonard Cornwall, on 5 November 1874.1 He married, secondly, Eleanor Cockburne Lindsay, daughter of Major Alexander J. Lindsay, on 11 July 1905.1 He died on 31 October 1923 at age 78.1
