Edward William Berkeley Portman was born on 30 July 1856. He was the son of William Henry Berkley Portman, 2nd Viscount Portman and Mary Selina Charlotte FitzWilliam. He married Hon. Constance Mary Lawley, daughter of Beilby Richard Lawley, 2nd Baron Wenlock and Lady Elizabeth Grosvenor, on 7 July 1892.1 He died on 27 April 1911 at age 54, without issue.1

Henry Berkeley Portman, 3rd Viscount Portman was born on 16 February 1860. He was the son of William Henry Berkley Portman, 2nd Viscount Portman and Mary Selina Charlotte FitzWilliam. He married Emma Andalusia Frere Kennedy, daughter of Nigel Kennedy and Catherine Anne May, on 25 September 1901. He died on 18 January 1923 at age 62.

He married, firstly, Mary Ada Gordon-Cumming, daughter of Major Francis Hasting Toone Gordon-Cumming and Emma Campbell, on 9 February 1888. He and Mary Ada Gordon-Cumming were divorced in 1897. He married, secondly, Harriette Mary Stevenson, daughter of William Stevenson, on 12 March 1898. He died on 6 June 1929 at age 64.
