     Jacopo Luis Francesco Pablo Rafael FitzJames-Stuart y Ventimiglia, 8th Duque de Liria y Xerica was born on 3 June 1821 at Palermo, Sicily, ItalyG.1 He was the son of Carlos Miguel FitzJames-Stuart y Silva, 7th Duque de Liria y Xerica and Rosalia di Ventimiglia.1 He married Maria Francesca de Sales Portocarrero-Palafox y Kirkpatrick de Closeburn, 12th Duquesa de Peñaranda de Bracamonte, daughter of Cypriano Portocarrero y Palafox, 8th Conde de Montijo and María Manuela Elisabeth Kirkpatrick de Closeburn y Grevigné, on 14 February 1844 at Madrid, SpainG.1 He died on 10 July 1881 at age 60 at Madrid, Spain.2,3
     He succeeded as the 8th Duque de Liria y Xerica [Spain, 1707] on 7 October 1835.1

     Maria Francesca de Sales Portocarrero-Palafox y Kirkpatrick de Closeburn, 12th Duquesa de Peñaranda de Bracamonte was born on 29 January 1825.3 She was the daughter of Cypriano Portocarrero y Palafox, 8th Conde de Montijo and María Manuela Elisabeth Kirkpatrick de Closeburn y Grevigné.3 She married Jacopo Luis Francesco Pablo Rafael FitzJames-Stuart y Ventimiglia, 8th Duque de Liria y Xerica, son of Carlos Miguel FitzJames-Stuart y Silva, 7th Duque de Liria y Xerica and Rosalia di Ventimiglia, on 14 February 1844 at Madrid, SpainG.1 She died on 16 September 1860 at age 35 at Paris, FranceG.3
     She gained the title of 12th Duquesa de Peñeranda de Bracomonte [Spain, 1608].1

He was the son of Carlos Maria Isabel FitzJames-Stuart y Portocarrero-Palafox, 16° Duque de Alba de Tormes and María del Rosario Falcó y Osorio, 22° Condesa de Siruela. He married Maria del Rosario de Silva y Gurtubay, Marquesa de San Vicente del Barco on 7 October 1920 at London, EnglandG. He died on 24 September 1953 at age 74 at Lausanne, Switzerland.3
     He succeeded as the 17° Duque de Alba de Tormes on 27 March 1904.1
