She was the daughter of Louis de Gontaut-Biron, Marquis de Saint Blancard and Felicie de Bauffremont-Courtenay, Princesse de Bauffremont-Courtenay. She married Comte Antoine de Cossé-Brissac on 24 October 1857 at Paris, France. She died on 12 October 1873 at age 33 at Sainte Luperce.
     Her married name became de Cossé-Brissac.
