     Blanche Tolley Mence was born in 1868.1 She was the daughter of Martin Mence.1 She married Very Rev. Edward Crofton Leigh McLaughlin, son of Maj.-Gen. Edward McLaughlin and Annie Bromilow, in 1899.1
     From 1899, her married name became McLaughlin.1

     Martin McLaughlin was born in 1900.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Edward Crofton Leigh McLaughlin and Blanche Tolley Mence.1 He died in 1981.1
     Martin McLaughlin graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was a senior History Master at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.1 He was H.M. Inspector of Schools.1 He was a professor at Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida, U.S.A..1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Historical Society (F.R.Hist.S.).1
