Mark Everard Pepys, 6th Earl of Cottenham was born on 29 May 1903.2 He was the son of Sir Kenelm Charles Edward Pepys, 4th Earl of Cottenham and Lady Rose Nevill.1 He married Sybil Venetia Taylor, daughter of Captain John Vickris Taylor and Sybil Mary Hopkinson, on 19 January 1927.3 He and Sybil Venetia Taylor were divorced in 1939. He died on 19 July 1943 at age 40, without male issue.3
