     Mark Everard Pepys, 6th Earl of Cottenham was born on 29 May 1903.² He was the son of Sir Kenelm Charles Edward Pepys, 4th Earl of Cottenham and Lady Rose Nevill.¹ He married Sybil Venetia Taylor, daughter of Captain John Vickris Taylor and Sybil Mary Hopkinson, on 19 January 1927.³ He and Sybil Venetia Taylor were divorced in 1939. He died on 19 July 1943 at age 40, without male issue.³

     Captain John Vickris Taylor was born on 27 July 1872 at England.² He married Sybil Mary Hopkinson, daughter of George Henry Hopkinson and Blanche Isabella Somerset, on 19 September 1905 at England.² He died on 3 October 1956 at age 84.²

     Lady Katherine Felicity Courtenay was born on 22 October 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Charles Christopher Courtenay, 17th Earl of Devon and Sybil Venetia Taylor.¹ She married Antony Stephen Pope Watney, son of John Lewis Watney, on 8 January 1966.¹
     Her married name became Watney. She lived in 2003 at Hope Cottage, The Strand, Starcross, Exeter, Devon, England.¹

     Antony Stephen Pope Watney was born on 21 August 1936.² He was the son of John Lewis Watney.¹ He married Lady Katherine Felicity Courtenay, daughter of Sir Charles Christopher Courtenay, 17th Earl of Devon and Sybil Venetia Taylor, on 8 January 1966.¹ He died in 1986.¹

     Sir Charles Pepys Courtenay, 14th Earl of Devon was born on 14 July 1870.¹ He was the son of Henry Reginald Courtenay, Lord Courtenay and Lady Evelyn Pepys.¹ He died on 4 February 1927 at age 56, unmarried.¹
     Sir Charles Pepys Courtenay, 14th Earl of Devon was Inspector of the Board of Agriculture between 1895 and 1904.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.p.) for Devon.¹ He succeeded to the title of 14th Earl of Devon [E., 1553] on 29 January 1904.¹ He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Courtenay [E., 1645] on 29 January 1904.¹ He retired from the military in 1908, with the rank of Major, late of the Somerset Light Infantry.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Major in 1914.¹

     Edward Courtenay was born on 3 May 1813.¹ He was the son of Sir William Courtenay, 10th Earl of Devon and Henrietta Leslie Pepys.¹ He died on 16 January 1814 at age 0.¹
