Captain Sir John Alexander Coldstream Campbell of Aberuchill, 7th Bt. was born on 27 June 1877.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir Alexander Campbell of Aberuchill, 6th Bt. and Edith Frances Arabella Jauncey.2 He married Janet Thomson Hood Moffat, daughter of James Moffat, on 24 January 1921.1 He died on 21 January 1960 at age 82.1
Captain Sir John Alexander Coldstream Campbell of Aberuchill, 7th Bt. fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Scottish Horse.1 He gained the title of 7th Baronet Campbell, of Aberuchill [N.S., 1668] on 23 May 1914.1 He fought in the Gallipoli Campaign in April 1915.1
