     Eugenie Prinzessin von Croÿ was born on 11 October 1854 at Dülmen, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Rudolf Maximilian Konstantin Herzog von Croÿ and Natalie de Ligne, Princesse de Ligne. She married Pál Antal Miklós Prinz Esterházy von Galántha, son of Miklós Pál Prinz Esterházy von Galántha and Lady Sarah Frederica Caroline Child-Villiers, on 17 June 1879 at Dülmen, Germany.1 She died on 12 June 1889 at age 34 at Vienna, Austria.1
     Eugenie Prinzessin von Croÿ was baptised with the name of Eugenie Eleonore Marie Luise Edwige.1 From 17 June 1879, her married name became Esterházy von Galántha.
