He married Marie Therese Prinzessin von und zu Liechtenstein, daughter of Aloise Prinz von und zu Liechtenstein and Elisabeth Amelia Erzherzogin von Österreich, on 12 February 1944 at Vienna, Austria.1 He died on 8 October 1996 at age 90.
