     Ernst Baron von Gudenus was born in 1875 at Thannhausen, Austria. He was the son of Ernst Ferdinand Reichsfreiherr von Gudenus and Anna Maria Augusta Gräfin von Schönborn-Wiesentheid. He married Baronin Maria Rosario von Korff in 1914 at Sutthausen bei Osnabrück, Germany.1 He died in 1957.
