     Maria Magdalena Gräfin von Galen was born in 1908. She was the daughter of Augustinus Graf von Galen and Levina Gräfin von Korff gennant Schmising. She married Herbert Baron von Canstein in 1934. She died in 1980 at Drensteinfurt, Germany.
     Her married name became von Canstein.

     Herbert Baron von Canstein was born in 1902. He married Maria Magdalena Gräfin von Galen, daughter of Augustinus Graf von Galen and Levina Gräfin von Korff gennant Schmising, in 1934. He died in 1945 at Rhede, Germany, killed in action.
     Herbert Baron von Canstein fought in the Second World War.
